“Rules of the Sea.”
A free online course is offered through Boat US to "freshen" up your skills.
In order to operate a motorboat of ten (10) horsepower or greater, Florida law requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the FWC.
Florida does not have a "boating license." The Boating Safety Education Identification Card is proof of successful completion of the educational requirements and is valid for life.

Is Gas included in the rental and how much will it cost?
Gas is NOT included.
This will vary depending on your use, the size of the motor, wind, current, weight
and price of marine (non-ethanol) grade gas that day.
All boat rentals are FULL for departure, we ask that you top off the tank at the local marina before returning to the rental dock. You only pay for what you use, just like a car rental.
What should I bring with me?
Driver's license, credit card, cell phone.
Wear "boat friendly" soft soled sandals or water shoes, if you plan to be swimming and walking the islands
as there are lots of shells.
We kindly ask that you do not use a "bronzer" for sunbathing as it stains the upholstery.
You may bring your inflatable floats for relaxing and soaking up the sun, but
due to the shallow waterways, insurance regulations will not allow "Towing of any kind".
This is for your safety.
Our boats are not equipped to transport or hold Paddleboards or Kayaks of any kind.
Please make arrangements for these items, as they are not allowed on our boats.
